Problem coding Foglights as coming home/leaving home lights

Featured Replies

Hi

Following the guide in the sticky section

Controller 09 - Central Electronics

16 - Security Access - enter 31347

10 - Adaptations

(4)-Comfort illumination-Coming Home Leuchten - change to Foglight (Nebellicht)

To turn off the dipped beams for CH/LH:

Change the following channels:

(8)-Leuchte6ABL LC5-Lichtfunktion C 6 from Coming Home oder Leaving Home aktiv to not active

(8)-Leuchte7ABL RB1-Lichtfunktion C 7 from Coming Home oder Leaving Home aktiv to not active

I now get both fogs and dipped as ch/lh.

But trying to code dipped beam OFF I get this message service not supported in active session

Same message trying to code it back to dipped from Fogs.

Have no problems with other codings.

If needed 2016 oc3 style combi - non xeon head light.

Maybe the sticky section giving adress for xeon.

I'm a VCDS noob but we all started somewhere.

On the Ross-Tech Forum there are some posts which suggest that the latest versions of VCDS may have a problem with this.

So until they release 16.8.4 it might be worth rolling back to VCDS 16.8.1 and trying again?
