Help please stupid dropped off part off car 1h0845125

 

It looks simlar shape to electronic points rotor arm looking shape, except in plastic, just over 1cm wide. Kind of D shaped at the wide end except one end of the D is curved and the other is pointed.

Dropped down from wheel well myseriously and have no idea what it is.

 

Looks like it may have had some kind of small hex bolt in there maybe 5mm or so wide.

Have no idea what its related to except that unsearchable part reference ???? What the hell is it.

Maybe related to windscreen fitment ( was replaced in the past, surprised if its been loose up there for ever as its been a while - a year I think !)

Something to do with windscreen mounting.

Google worked for me. Third character is a zero, not a letter.

Ah cool that was my bad ! Good point. I must have been in as an O by accident as it came up with a right load of garbage when I tried.

 

Thanks, nothing too important by sounds of it as the screen itself will be sealed, may stick in evelope labelled and in the car in case of windscreen replacement again in future in case its needed.

Yeah, it's so they can adjust windscreen alignment during fitting at the factory. The hex part is for them to insert a tool in it to turn it to the desired angle.
