SE Technology

Featured Replies

I am currently looking to buy a new Superb. The 2.0 (150) SEL ticks almost all the boxes except that the 17" wheels with all season tyres are not an option. The SE Technology can be speced with all the options I want (and would be cheaper). Until a few days ago I was under the impression that it was available to business buyers only (I'm a private cash buyer) and as such this trim would not be an option to me  However it appears to listed on the Skoda and Skoda dealer websites with no mention that it is for business buyers only (except in the downloadable brochure). Advice would be appreciated.

I also really liked the trim of the dash of the SEL and would want the same in the SE Tech. Does the SEL have the aluminium inserts which are an option for the SE Tech spec? There seems to be a lack of photos to compare.

Hi,

Yes, the SE-L does have the aluminium trim.

I had read somewhere the SE Technology replaced the business model so it could be sold to the general public. ?

Hi

The general public can buy the se tech. I had no problems

And the se tech has the alloy looking insert in the dash.

Hope this helps

We had no issue when ordering a personal lease ordering a SE Business at the time  (April 2016) but when the car turned up (late August for registration on 1st Sept) the MY2017 changes had been made and it was an SE Technology that was delivered.

No difference other than the MY2017 changes (different rearview mirror and larger screen on infotainment).

you should have no issue
