2.0 TDI 140 PD - Oil catch Cans

Featured Replies

I'm sure this has been covered but I cant find exactly what I'm looking for.

I need to replace the turbo soon, so would definitely like to at the same time add an oil catch can to preserve my shiny new hybrid turbo from oily ****e.

So there are lots of cheap and lots of crazy expensive cans available. some with baffles some without, some with filters some without.

Questions:

1. which is best?

2. Where on earth can it be fitted in a 140PD engine bay that doesn't require much if any mods or long tubes?

I cant find a single photo of one installed.

Cheers guys n Gals

Surely somebody has fitted one to their PD and could take photo's or explain where they fitted it?

and people who read must have an opinion on the type of can to buy?

You've given people 1 hour and 52 minutes in the middle of a work day to reply......give it a day or two and I'm sure someone will come up with something. Patience is the key ;)

looks great.

even fitted using the oil filter housing.

I'm sure someone here has fitted one to a PD which would be nice to actually see.
