To anyone with eye brows fitted.....

Featured Replies

What did you use to bond the eyebrows to your headlights????

do they not just attach themsleves when you drive through halfords? like lexus lights, stick on pedals and the like?

you could alwyas try silicon seal - at least you can then remove it later when reality dawns....

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to cut the light output by 10-15%?

Wouldn't it be cheaper and easier just to buy some lower wattage bulbs?

Willbones,

Take no heed of these imbeciles, they would have you think that shoving coal up your bottom will turn it into a diamond.

IF I were to fit them, I'd probably use polyurethane bonding adhesive. Nothing will move them then. :D

Don't you get some sticky crap in the kit.

I know what you mean, it's like driving a Fabia vRS isn't it. ;)

Speaking from experience in a past life, eyebrow spoilers generally come with 3M extra sticky adhesive tape on the back to hold them in place...

...now that I've seen the error of my ways (look, I fitted them to a Nova I had when I was 17... a Nova SR... and I was 17... enough said...) I would honestly say, to anyone with eyebrows fitted to anything other than their face, take them off, they don't look good, and they reduce the effectiveness of your lights.

You know a mod's a bad idea when you see people doing it for themselves with electrical tape - not me, but I've seen it done several times, that's true pikey modding for you! :D

Now where have I seen gaffer tape eyebrows? :rubchin:

Oh yeah:

I used JBS to bond the eyebrows to the headlights on my Octavia.

I don't care what other people think of them I think they stop the Octavia from looking f'ugly. The front of the Octavia is it's worse feature IMO and if I hadn't seen one with eyebrows I may never have got one.

Paul, do you have a high res version of those, can't quite make out the tape

sorry i will try and enlarge them a bit for our older poorer sighted members...

like Des.

Thats another PIKEY MOD :)

That pink Octavia is the saddest thing I have ever seen! And I have just watched a documentary about orphaned baby Elephants.

if you think its pink i suggest you purchase a new monitor......

you would think the police would comment on headlights like that.

I was born with my eye brows and they grew as I got older. Never had to stick any on, how strange.
