If I has replaced every tyre on which I had picked up a nail or screw on the last 31 months of ownership then I'd be an extra $1000 down at least.

I bet I would have replaced the same tyre a few times as well so I would have uneven wear to contend with.

Not had a puncture on the old small Echo, I suppose running skinny tyres reduces the chances of running over a nail?
