Not a Badge snob..............Should make em bigger for all to see..

What Skoda badges?

Not ashamed just like the clean look.

Still wear my Skoda jacket and underpants with pride :)

I am not embarrassed by the Skoda badges at all. Its great to see the look on some drivers faces when they are overtaken by, horror of horrors - a Skoda ;) It is especially apparent when blasting past a BMW 3 series or 1/2 series (Mini for those who differentiate between the brands)

Most of my mates are envious of my car as well  :D (well they are engineers ;) )

I have no problem with the skoda badges on my car,i think they look good:thumbup: only badge i've removed was the octavia one as i didn't like the style of lettering

and the thing i find it quite amusing is when people experience skoda cars and have to swallow there pride and admit there good :D

why would anyone be embarassed.....?

I like the badges. Admittedly I have taken the back one off, and now rely on the "SKODA" bit in my window sticker to get the message across. ;)

:)

I'm proud to own a Skoda! I looked past the "stigma" and brought the best quality car u could, and it was a Skoda!

I didn’t buy my car because its a skoda, I bought it because it offered exactly what I wanted.

At my age owning a Skoda is embarrassing, I am sorry if know one can understand that but try being my age.

I actually make a joke out of my car on a night out when I am asked what I drive, its just the next morning when she's actually impressed, as demonstrated in Leeds recently ;)

In conclusion, yes I am slightly embarrassed driving a Skoda, but I love the car to bits :)

I'm not embarrased by the skoda badge at all, or admitting to driving one - however from a purely asthetical stand point, I think the Skoda badge is absolutely horrible, just a huge green blob that clashes with virtualy any colour car, Skoda would do well to re-design the corporate logo, not to hide what the car is, but just make it a little less garish - The badges seen on some of the concept cars highlight my point - skoda designers obviously dont like them either so they replace them with the plain silver ones - much nicer!!

I'll be suprised if you find anyone on this forum who is embarrased!

Saying that, my 10 year old daughter doesn't like the fact that I have a Skoda... She must get it from her mother!

I didn

I've ordered a Skoda ???

I've ordered a Skoda ???
Dont worry, as long as you havent ordered Yellow you should be able to get by in life

:orb_phew: Thanks jimbob, thought I'd made a right booboo then, but I have just looked at my signature and it's all coming flooding back now

I particularly like the vRs badges on the front doors and steering wheel !!

Quiet often here people walking across a car park saying " look at that nice black car, i wonder what it is?" then they see the badge " Oh it's a Skoda!"

Can this stop now ? Do what I did, save 3 grand and buy the same car, with more love in it ?

Where's the "No, it's just a badge like any other" option?

Honestly I don't give a flying f*ck what the badge looks like, I like the car, it goes fast, I can afford it, I hate Audis and VWs for their badge snobbery when VW at least is a jumped-up peoplewagon with no real heritage apart from one model they made for 50 years, and it was still carp ..... you get the picture.

I don't worry about badges. I buy what I like.

So why is your signature still a load of BMW pics?

:) I fully admit to being totally addicted to all things Skoda, I simply have no desire to own any other make. I gues that makes me shallow and narrow minded, but never mind, at least I'm honest.

I am proud to display the Skoda badge, absolutely anywhere, I even wear clothes with the wiged arrow emblem on them!! :)

I'm an inverted badge snob.

Would love a big silver Skoda emblem to go on the back door/rear quarter/window... awesome.

I'd be more embarrased to own a VW (or a BMW 1 Series) - all those people thinking I'm so stupid I'd pay several thousand pounds for a badge

Removed the vRS badge and I will probably remove the Fabia one as well.

The vRS one was removed (from the rear only) as there was too much of an 'I'm gonna try to race you' thing going on (tailgating types, having to move over a lot etc). Just couldn't be bothered with it any longer so got the dealer to remove it FOC. I'm tempted to remove the Fabia one too as it's cleaner & also easier to clean. Definitely not removing the Skoda badges themselves though.

Embarrassment etc doesnt come into it, I drive it to get from A->B and sure I take some pride in it too, more than in some other cars I've owned, but SWMBO bought a Kia and that badge is staying put too :P
