Anyone that knows us probably won't be surprised we are starting a new build thread. As a complete petrol head husband and wife team nothing stays standard for long in our household. Ria passed her driving test three and a half years ago and her first car a Fabia VRS SE was awesome but now it's time for something a little bigger. We collected this VRS 230 manual hatch in Black Magic this morning. Registered in May 2016 it's a K plate ex Skoda car and has less than 5k miles on the clock. It's rather nice !

First stop after exiting Sherlodge/Motorline was the local Shell garage for a tank full of the good stuff.

Then home for the first modification/addition. A necessary Brodit iPhone dash mount.

The car is stunning as it is and so won't be highly modified. However we do have a few plans. Watch this space !

I wasn't sure if I would like the 230 in Black Magic; too much black I thought. But it looks really good.

@group1rs - Congrats on the car. I recently bought exactly the same spec as you including mileage (~4100), except in Moon White and without the 230 decals. Similarly looking to upgrade a few bits and bobs; will be following your progress with interest! A

Xtreme 19 inch wheels retired to the garage until better weather arrives.

 

 

 

And then on with the 18 inch Gemini's shod with 225/40/18 Goodyear Ultragrip Performance. Also fitted Team Heko wind deflectors and a full set of mud flaps.
