So after months of research and consideration I finally took the plunge. Picked up my new SEL TDI 150 4x4 DSG at the weekend and now I keep finding excuses to go for a drive. With the switch from a manual Octavia, I've got the double learning curve of a bigger, higher car along with the new experience of the DSG.

Kodiaq Edition 7seats 4*4 2TDI 150ps manual in Quartz Gray.

Collected yesterday, drove home average of 48mpg, enjoying the toys but lane assist is a bit freaking when overtaking. Thining of calling it "Yogi", I know not the most original of names,

Lane assist is temporarily disabled when you use the indicators, which prevents the car fighting you every time you try and change lanes.

As well as the indicators suppressing it, you can also switch Lane Assist off completely. Its in the Vehicle options I think, or press the "assistance systems menu" button on the steering wheel (not sure if all models have this button?)

Picked my Kodiak on Tuesday, 190 DSG Edition in velvet red with ivory interior, tow bar, heated screen, interior lighting pack, spare wheel, remote rear backrest release and Canton sound system. Running boards to be fitted when I get the time (hopefully next weekend) Had the wheels put into black as I think they look better.
