Hi all i have traded the superb 190tdi l n k combi for a kodiaq scout 2.0 tsi red velvet paint pan roof heated screen and washers adaptive cruise heated front and rear seats lane change assist and blind spot detection and running boards drove it back from stockport today im over the moon so smooth and quiet  big thanks to micheal cochrane and ian seddon at skoda stockport as  they had my car in the showroom this morning unregistered brand new and i was able to collect it at 5.30 today 

Fantastic service great team this is my second car from lookers

I do like it, I think it adds a more premium look and feel, if we hadn't gone for the Scout I'd have seriously considered the beige leather interior. Two young kids and a care-free wife would make me constantly nervous though!

That's nice. I'd be very interested to hear what you think of the Kodiaq after being in a Superb as well as your impressions of the 2.0 Tsi (after you've had awhile to enjoy it, of course!)

My Kodiaq arrived this morning after a long drive from Middlesbrough.  It's an SE L 2.0 TDi 190PS DSG 4x4 7 seater in Cappucino Beige with cream leather.  The only other option is a spare wheel, since I got the car from stock and couldn't spec anything else.

 

I've only been for a couple of short drives so far but first impressions are very good.  The infotainment system is certainly a step up from anything I've had before!

New Kodiaq owner saying "Hi!".....

 

She's a MY17 SEL 2.0 tfsi DSG. Finished in black, with black leather and 7 seats. She has upgraded Canton, reverse camera and front and rear sensors. There may be more...still working things out. Boy I love the engine, especially in sport mode. I think it'll give my remapped MK1 Octavia VRs a run for its money. MPG is averaging 32. Not bad at all. 

 

My wife keeps taking the keys to this which is a v good sign! 

 

Previous car was a Skoda Superb SEL 150ps 4x4 manual. Great car let down by a crap gear change!

I like manual and autos equally but the Superb's box was pants. I rejected it in the end after a long running saga with the supplying dealer.  I've just updated that thread in the Superb III members area. 

 

It was otherwise a brilliant car...

Just the space saver and 4th yr warranty as it was dealer stock, but the scout has pretty much everything I wanted bar the colour maxi dot, but after a day of driving it I am already over it!

Bought last October and now on 11000 happy miles.

Fantastic all-rounder for the family and can go when required. Took til about 5000m before economy began to get to where I expected (around 40mpg for first 3-4k now nearer 45 average and can get 50 on a serene A-road jaunt on eco).

 

Had a quick look down the list, am I the only Brill Silver? Never thought I would see the day.....common as muck :)

Welcome!  I was wondering if the economy would improve; I'm on 1300 miles and still getting 35-40mpg on average.

Cheers, I suppose it coincided with entering winter and improving as spring and summer approached too. I read through the previous posts and see there is at least one other Silver bear too. One failure to report that I forgot about. Passengers window failed, broken plastic guides in the door. Repaired under warranty.
