Covers to protect back of front seats

Featured Replies

Hello all,

Does anyone have a recommendation for good covers that protect the back of the front seats from kids in the back kicking and wiping their shoes on the back of the seats?  Any help, gratefully appreciated..

I've got these in a mkIII vRS.

I don't care for the pockets etc but they do the job. These are the best I could find for the vRS seats with the integrated headrest.

I don't notice the strap around the headrest, either as driver or passenger. I did notice the muddy footprints on the back of the passenger seat from the very first trip in the car :-)

I wish I had found those for my se sport a much better length than the one I got out of halfords.

Thanks Andy, these are exactly what I need for my SE Sport.  Just ordered - thanks again!

I have Diono ones bought from Amazon. They come black with red stitching so go some way to match the red stitching in my vRS. No complaints.

Thanks Andy02, I've ordered a pair.

Sorry to dig up old thread but after MUCH searching I found these on AliExpress.

I think they look pretty good fitted although I wish the stitching was red to match my seats.:

They hook onto the map pocket with 2 plastic clips, and there are a couple of hooks that secure them under the seat. I was concerned about them putting pressure on the map pocket and leaving a mark when removed, but the plastic clips are wide to spread the load and they're made of very lightweight materials.

Quality seems OK in the main part, but a weak point is the metal studs that hold the plastic clips on.  On one of the protectors, both studs popped apart as I was trying to fit it. Looks like they've been mangled in the factory - very poor quality control. I have been able to straighten them out and hammer them back together, but if they pop apart again I'll have to buy some replacement studs for a few quid off ebay.

They come as a pair and the set also includes thing that wraps the transmission tunnel but it looks like junk so threw that out.

They're really not worth the money they're charging but it's the only option I've found that I'm happy with.

Those indicate they're for a Toyota Prado. I couldn't find any listed for an Octavia with red stitching.

Of course, they may fit anyway - but I didn't want to risk it. Certainly the middle part to cover the transmission tunnel is entirely model specific.
