+1, for heated screen and washers.

DAB is included if you get Amundsen,  the SE and SEL have bolero as standard which doesn't have DAB

You can add DAB for £135 to SE and SEL

If you want to lease : Contract Hire and Leasing .com is very good for finding a cheap deal (but doesn't include everyone)

@4WD based on what you said, base price for base price our site supporting dealers can beat that. I'm guessing you're buying for cash or finance?

If so, take a look at our cars project https://cars.briskoda.net/skoda/yeti There might be minor pricing discrepancies due to recent price changes. At the moment you can't add options in the 'build'. But if you have a look and submit, you'll get a price with a discount off the base price and a contact number. Then if you proceed to contact the dealer, the discount will be applied to the options too. So you can compare like for like in either option then. Hope that makes sense. Any questions, please just ask.

If you're after PCH, we also have a dealer with free national delivery ;) Just drop me a pm for that one at the moment.

Colin.

my yeti came with heated windscreen but as car is garaged ive never needed to use it in three years, also came with auto parking ,which I hate and don't use.but I do find the DAB good and camera and all round parking censors great,i also have a spare wheel (debated on hear many times) and always thought of it as a pro for but don't think I would bother again as loss of boot space and with the breakdown cover included/ available it would be better for me to have the extra space when needed ( but would proberly be a niggle always in the back of my mind)also bit of a niggle is that the car came with picnic trays in the back fixed to the front seats which cost a couple of inches of leg room in the rear and I would remove if there were no sign of fittings left. oh and after having heated seats for the first time this would now become a must.

I'd also buy a tanker for the blinking screenwash! I've never owned a car that uses so much of the stuff :-) headlights washers absolutely drink the screenwash dry! And leave the bonnet covered in soapy residue.

I agree with this! It's certainly seems different to my 2 previous Yetis but I seem to remember that this was programmable within Maxidot, or was it via VCDS? My memory gets worse by the day.......

Fred (I think):wondering:

Has the size of the tank changed recently? because  I only over about 7000 a year and can only remember topping up a couple of times a year.

Depends on how often you use it, and the time of day. When I was working I would fill mine at least once a fortnight, now it is much less often.

We've used 15 litres of screenwash in our first 1000miles, but I guess its the dirtiest time of year, and we drive a lot at night so light washers in use all the time.

Hopefully in the summer it wont need topping up so much!

But in all honesty if thats the worst thing about the Yeti then thats fine!

Think it has been a big problem in London area during second half of January as so much salt (some routes were being done between peaks and evening), and with all the leaky pipes before morning rush as well.

There were roads where squirters were needed every quarter mile some days so seemed to use the screen wash up really fast.  Probably last months in the summer.

Load Net - so glad I optioned this as it's a PITA to retro fit and is incredibly useful.

Fold Flat front passenger seat - I DIDN'T option this and can't tell you how many times I have regretted that when trying to fit long things into the car.

I would also consider front parking sensors - never needed them on any other car in nearly 30 years of driving but the Yeti is such a bluff front end that I really wish I'd spec'd them.

Does the net screen easily remove? I haven't seen one of these and it may be useful on my new car.

One option I would not do without now and is rarely seen on the Yeti is the electric adjustable drivers seat.

My first Yeti elegance 2wd I had for 4 years with standard seat and there was literally only one position of height and horizontal position where I was reasonably comfortable.

Current car is Yeti Greenline elegance and approaching 3 years old. Following comments on this forum back then, I specced this seat option as the lease costs were much lower by then and it was within my company car allowance. With adjustment of the angle of the seat base available there are loads of variations in height and position which are now comfortable, and the adjustable lumbar is brilliant. (You can even manually roll it up and down a few times whilst driving to massage an aching back!) I am the only driver so I have position 1 set for normal use, and position 2 for when I have thick work boots on. Position 3 is a comfort position for a rest whilst parked, although i have to manually rake the seat back further down as there is a limit it will not go past in normal driving adjustment. When finished, press 1 again and the seat returns to where it should be. So much easier than guessing with the manual adjustment and tinkering for ages after to get it just right again.

If you adjust the seat during a journey it will reset when you unlock the car again with the key, unless you save the new position before you get out.

If you share the car with your wife or another each persons key alters the seat to their setting as they unlock the car. Mirrors adjust as well.

My newly ordered Yeti, which will be the first car I have owned for nearly 30 years had this specced as the first extra option I picked.

Yes the net removes in a matter of seconds. Here are photos of it:
