Internal T10 / w5w load resistor placement

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have 4300k hids and have swapped out the yellow halogen sidelights for the CANBUS LED variety.

Now, after having had the inevitable dashboard bulb error warning, I'm now in the process of fitting a pair of 3.2w, 0.29A load resistors

My question being, with these being for sidelights and rated to only 3.2w, is it safe to mount on them on say some insulating material inside the headlamp housing, or will they get too hot? External fitment seem to be a bit of a faff and will require cutting wires.

Thanks.
