Phone removal Bluetooth / VCDS

Featured Replies

Hi,

I am looking for some advice please.

I have a FL Superb and my phone was connected with no problems on Bluetooth. It is now no longer connecting and I am unable to remove it from the car's memory.

I have just purchased VCDS (genuine copy) can anyone advise me how to remove the phone from memory?

Ps I have tried to remove via the MFD without success.

Thanks in advance

despite having vcds myself I do not know the answer to your question, however it is worth you trying to add the phone again via mfd and then deleting the previous version. change the phones name if it complains.

hope that helps and if not I hope someone has an intelligent answer for you.

Bluetooth on Superbs seems to be really finicky. Worked nicely for a while, then refused to connect, dropped connection right when I tried to use bluetooth and so on. At one point all the MFD displayed was trying to connect and fail over and over again. The screen flashed with those messages and prevented me from seeing the digital speed readout, which was enough of a headache to make me turn bluetooth off on my phone. It kept going after that, so I took the key and left the car on its own for a while. I have an Android Wear watch, which is worse than an actual watch without an internet connection.

Grab your phone, unpair the car on it, rename the phone's bluetooth and turn the phone's bluetooth off. If the car doesn't see any bluetooth devices to connect to and it's not actively trying to connect to one, you should be able to delete all bluetooth devices in the MFD settings. Then try to start pairing from scratch.
