Bought a tfsi vrs black with black wheels and although I do kinda like the look I keep thinking of getting them put back to standard look. They don't feel like me, if you know what I mean. Anyone else swapped back to standard? 

Black wheels are not a good choice on any car IMHO. 

Tyres etc all get lost in arches.

 

Going from standard to a mid grey colour (Porsche grey) tomorrow. £200 including the loan of a set of wheels for 3 days. Will post a photo when they are done. 

 

Not it sure I could do black either. They were an option when I bought mine but didn't tick that box. 

My winter wheels are black and while they're not a bad looking wheel, they need regular cleaning to look their best.

I hate black wheels...full stop...I have always had alloys on my cars (apart from my Mk III Cortina !!!) and to me they should always be silver and highlight the car. Black ones just don't do that IMHO !!!!

I agree that black wheels tend to get lost on a car ... No matter how smart the wheel is you never really appreciate it as everything just blends into the blackness of the wheel arch...  

As with others - can't stand black wheels as they just look like they are missing hub caps - got to be silver...

I'm not a fan of black wheels really, with the only slight exception being black on black!

Black wheels look naff on any colour car,id go with a change of colour if the car was mine.

No mate...it was my first ever car that I paid £250 for and I couldn't afford them...it was a 1.3 2-door in two tone blue and silver and came with steel wheels on it and all I could afford was about £3 for a tin of silver spray paint !!

Pink trim is the sti colours.

It had silver wheels.
