Just wondering where people buy their tyres from, have the fitted, do it themselves etc.

Need a couple for the Z1000sx, original Bridgestone 020 front worn funny. Apparently a fault with this tyre on this bike.

Any recommendations appreciated 

Tbh i usually just use my trusted local bike shop. 

 

It costs me probably 20-30 quid more than online but its a ride in ride out thing and i know its done right. 

 

I have used Selecta Tyre before and taken the wheels off myself but they made a meal out of it. 'Ooh only one guy can do those'

I always take loose wheels in and get tyres online from the cheapest place.

 

My local Dexel tyre place fit nice a cheap

I've been going to Watling Tyres for years. Good prices, good service, MOTs. Unfortunately for the OP, they are only in the southeast.

 

The kid I used to tip after he mounted my tyres is now the shop manager with his own kids and pot belly.
