Please take some picture fitted if you get the chance, it would be great to see what it looks like inside the car...

Will do.  Pick up the car on Saturday.

Absolutely baffles me that there is no boot liner that fits for when the 3rd row is up.

Hello

I have just taken some photos of mine, hope it helps you choose.

Hi @raygun57, did you manage to take any picture?

BTW how big is the package? Since I live in Switzerland, I was thinking about asking Roof Box to ship it to our London office and bring it back myself upon my next visit. Do you think it's doable?

Or does anyone know where I can order the Rezaw-Plast boot liner, black, no. RZ231531 in central Europe?

The package is not that big.  It is rolled and inside a thin plastic sheet type cover so no bulky cardboard box.  The plastic wrap is enough to protect it as nothing can break on it! It is as tall as the Kodiaq boot is wide and a rolled about 15cms across?  Do roofbox deliver to europe?  Great company to deal with.  Got my roofbox, roofbars and three thule bike racks from them before this.

I got it in the car tonight, along with the rubber rear mats and rubber transmission tunnel protector, which are excellent, as darkness fell so will take some photos in the morning if I remember!

Can I ask what you all put into your boots that require such mats? I know some of you have dogs, but the others...?

The boot carpet is pretty sturdy stuff - it's the plastic trim all round the boot that's going to get scratched, and none of these protect all that (from what I've seen).

Anything muddy, in my case golf stuff. Unfortunately the soil is all clay around here

Two kids under 5 in a cage usually.  They create so much mess and mud.  If I could rubberize everything from the front seats back I would. One trip to the 5 year olds rugby on a Saturday creates so much mud everywhere.  Unreal.

I never had one in my Superb estate.  I had an old picnic blanket with a waterproof underside that seemed to suffice.  But then for any dirty work I had  Subaru Tribeca that used to get thrashed.  Now that the Kodiaq is the big car in the family it will be called for all the rough stuff.  I have a boot liner for our other car but as the boot only fits two shopping bags that is only in case of milk bottle leakage.

This will be our 5th Skoda, the material used for the carpet hasn't changed much in almost 10 years.

If the dirt, grit, dried grass etc. is left too long it easily becomes engrained into the fibres of the carpet and looks constantly dirty. It then becomes extremely difficult (and lengthy) to vacuum it out, especially when young kids are involved.

We all have different standards to which we like to keep our cars, mine is pretty high. Rubber / premium carpet is much easier to keep clean, and once cleaned looks cleaner.

I don't have a dog, but being the family car it is used for all activities. The boot often holds wellies, waterproof clothing and is handy for nappy changing as well as an area for striping them down before placing them on the rear seats.

Just recently I took our recycling bins to the tip, as well as a leaking dishwasher and some used engine oil.

Before that there was some old corroded copper pipe, fluorescent tubes and an expired heating header tank in there.

I also returned some greased brake discs back to the motor factors without the packaging.

All thrown into the boot, on a rubber liner without fear of permanently staining or damaging hard to remove / replace carpets.

Baby buggy for me that has had wheels rolled through god knows what.  I don't have to worry about dumping it straight in the boot without cleaning the wheels.

Thanks @raygun57! Looks good!

I have used my Octavia mat as it fits perfect apart from the fact it says Octavia lol

Any pictures? One mans definition of perfect can be different to an others :D

sorry its late silver

That is pretty close!

That's what I thought and seeing as I already had it saved me some money no point leaving it in the Octavia for the garage to benefit lol

What the hell is going on here?

Just flicking through Kodiaq's on Autotrader and noticed a 7-seater Scout with the genuine 5-seater rubber boot mat fitted.

Here is a picture from earlier in this thread showing how the 5-seater boot mat comes up short when fitted in a 7-seater, a big gap between the front edge of the mat and the boot catch...

This is a picture of the same boot mat (I counted the number of lines so it is the same mat, there is only one size anyway).

Here it has been pulled to the front of the boot so the gap is at the back, up against the back of the seats, but the gap seems much smaller, almost to the point it looks as though it fits. What am I missing?

I just ordered an aftermarket boot mat as I was convinced the Skoda one was for the 5-seater only...

@BoxerBoy, sorry to be a pain, any chance you could pull your boot mat all the way to the front and take a picture of the gap at the back, closet to the seats?

Is the gap at the back as small as it looks? The gap at the front looks huge, but when pulled forward the gap at the back looks tiny.

Confused

I was given the same boot liner from the 5 seater as part of a “protection pack”. ( mats, flaps and mats) though only got the rear flaps as awaiting new style fronts. The boot liner is fine for me and the gap at the rear when fully pulled forwards is about 2”

Thanks Kenny!

Dam it, I literally just bought an aftermarket one the other day online. I'd have gone for the genuine one had I realised it was only 2 inches short at the back.

Anyone in York or Durham (or in between) that wants one of these!?

£30 delivered :D

I must admit I guessed it would just be the 5 seater boot liner that the dealer was going to put in mine, and after seeing Boxer Boys picture I was looking at the after market offerings in this post, with the view of having to purchase one.

But having seen it I’m perfectly happy, and I like the fact the side cubbyholes are still accessible to get the shopping bags out.

Yep, you're right, I'm going to get one too.

The aftermarket one I bought online arrived this morning :D

I wonder what the physical difference is? Both are for the 5-seater, but two versions, one for cars without the spare wheel and the other for cars with the spare wheel.

I'm assuming on the 5-seater, all the spare wheel does is raise the height of the boot floor, so wouldn't the boot mats be the same?

Anyone know the difference between 565 061 163 and 565 061 163A..?

Yeah, there’s a letter ‘A’ at the end of the second one :D.

(sorry, couldn’t didn’t try to resist)

If I was a moderator that would deserve at least a one week suspension :D
