Anyone interested in the new BBC background series on road racing, it's called 'Road Riders' and starts Wednesday 19th April

The road races are great to see as we see proper blokes, and ladies, riding in them ie not tiny little Italian and Spanish guys weighing 50 to 60 kgs but proper chunky guys like me wrestling the bike around the circuit in NI, IoM, Macau etc.  Safety will never be what it is at the tracks and we will always get tut-tuts from some but then horse ridiing, skiing ain't too safe either.  Program is just covering the NW etc I gather.
