A few weeks ago my rear washer packed up on my 53 Plate Comfort Fabia. I assumed that it was blocked with grime so thought i'd sort it later, however now I cant open the boof of the car and reckon that the washer pipe may have come off and sprayed washer fluid all over the iside of the boot lid. Now the boot wont release!! Has anybody else suffered this? How do I get in the boot? Cheers for any help.

P.s Out of warrenty cos it's done 70,000 miles :-((

May have blown a fuse ......someone will be able to tell you which one ...if you need to get in the boot urgently to retrieve something just lower the back seats :P .....there must be a way to manually open it but I suspect whoever knows will let you know by PM ....or it might be in the handbook

There's a manual release handle next to the fuel filler lever in mine, have you tried that?

No second leaver in mine :-(( I'll check fuses as a first step :-))

There should be an orange-handled lever on the tailgate lock mechanism. You can use it to open the tailgate from within the boot.

Ditto the above.....think you have to remove a small plastic cover to reach the mechanism from inside the boot.
