Not be one I'd entertain, I've said it before but I'll say it again, at that sort of age and mileage buy direct from an owner ok you may not get a warrantee but if car is good with FSH you can buy one direct, it's worth cutting out the middleman they are going to be on at least 30% mark up different ball game if you spending 10k plus, no one with an ounce of sense px's a decent car with no issues they'd sell privately get a better price and haggle the price down as they have no px....

 

ah the cheapo car selling game I used to love it, to many rules and legistrations now ( which in general is a good thing )

Id knock of 500 quid for that awful grill.

Hi, just seen the auto trader comment seems to indicate they have checked the car and it has been registered cat C at some point ?

For a Cat C car, I would look at other Mk I Octavias around the same price range imo which have a cleaner record.
