Hello guys 

Has anyone fitted  a maxidot to a pre fl octavia .? I have just bought one and i need a little help and advice . The one I bought is part no 1Z0920941D dated 2005 and the original one i want to replace is dated 2006 and has part no 1Z0920910E .

That should be fine. As long as it's from a diesel.

 

You will need the immobilizer programming. You need some special tools to do this though (can't just be done with VCDS).

 

Also need to correct the mileage of the new cluster to match the old.
