Hey everyone, new member and new to Skoda. Having purchased two brand new Astra Elite's last year (one for my wife in sept and mine in Dec) and recently having a misfire issue with both cars, I have decided to act particularly as the manufacturer doesn't seem to give a toss!

So last week I have factory ordered a Superb Estate, it's the SEL Executive and I have gone for the 1.4 Tsi DSG. Mainly because I'm 34 now and not a racing driver, a dad to a 16 month old boy and travel 14 miles to work and the same distance back each day.

I have added the the following options... Quartz Grey paint with the black leather, the heated wheel with paddle shifts, the pan roof, the led light package, which in turn made me order kessy (keyless) and couldn't have it with out branded mats. Car will be with dealer early August.

So just after any feed back from other Superb drivers, especially ones with something close to what I have ordered.

Other than the Astra 66 plate I'm moving on I have owned in recent years a BMW 320 Msport Coupe (petrol) 2009, a Volvo V40 R Design Nav D3 in rebel blue (diesel 2.0) 2013, and a 2015 Volvo XC60 R Design Lux Nav D4 Auto. Ps ten years or so ago I had a Passat sport 1.8t on a W plate which I loved!

Secondly I like to have the same brand of car in the garage for my wife as what I have so thinking of changing her Astra 1.4t elite for a Rapid Spaceback SE Sport, again petrol preferred although looks like you can only get a 1.0 now on new. Her previous car was a Polo SEL 1.2 Tsi 64 reg but had to go when baby arrived, I suggested an Octavia but she isn't keen on the shape (rear of car mainly). Anyway any advise will be Great!

I've had a new 1.2tsi Spaceback SE tech (quartz grey) since Feb. A fantastic car, for its size, masses of passenger room, great to drive, as powerful as my previous 1.4tdi Fabia estate, plenty of boot space. Someone called round the other day an said "l like your new Audi"....says it all.
