Air con problem Fabia mk2

Featured Replies

Hi all

I have a 2013 fabia vrs estate mk2 and the air con is not working. The a/c light comes on but it never gets cold. I've checked the fuses and had the system re-gassed. The guy that re-gassed it suggested that it could be the pressure switch. My googlefu has failed me as I can't find a drawing of where to find the switch and it wasn't obvious when looking under the bonnet. If anyone has any suggestions or knows where the switch is I'd be most grateful.

Haynes manual says pressure switches and coolant temp switches are screwed into the compressor high pressure line. It then states any problem should be referred to a Skoda dealer or air-con specialist. I think this is due to the gasses being released etc if you remove them.

Just to be clear though, the Haynes manual doesn't cover the VRS version so some features will differ. Some obvious, some may not be.
