Can anyone with a Thule roof rack answer me this, does your rubbers on the setup sit flush to your roof?

 

Mind doesn't! (See pics) I thought the whole point of Thule car kits were that they are specifically designed for the cars roof in question.

 

Am I bothering over nothing?

It should sit tightly, and it looks to me like rubber is correct shape. I am not sure if the kit is possibly wrong / not compatible, or your car has some strange lines beneath.
