Looks great

Any chance of some close up shots of the bars please? I'm also interested in knowing if you get any wind noise from them when driving at speed.

find load stops useful when carrying lengths of timber, you can wedge the timber up against the load stops and then slide the other stops up against the other side of the timber, This stops any sideways movement of the tinter. Then just some straps to tighten it down so if doesn't slide forwards/backwards.

Sure, I’ll snap some tomorrow. I will take a longer ride next weekend, mainly on highway, I’ll share my thoughts on that.

Yeah, I can see the benefits of using load stops transporting timber, I seldom do and if shorter distances. But I will actually try making my own for the Evo system, could be fun and hopefully useful.

Thanks Jokkmokk

In addition to the Thule 775 feet, I notice on their website they claim their 710410 feet will also fit the Yeti? I have an independent Thule retailer near me, next time I'm passing I'll pop in and ask them...

Yeah, I’m aware of these but they are a brand new design from the old 400 as I understood it when talking to the roof rail guys and they haven’t got any from Thule yet. Also I actually like the looks of the 775 feet and I also think they are a tad lower.

So, I’m home after approximately 300km of driving in various speeds.

Now, the rain poured down all the way except from the very last bit of the journey. At no time did I hear any noise that I wasn’t used to, that’s what I can say about potential noise from the bars. The rain shattered the windshield and the rain soaked road gave of a constant noise. But again, other than that nothing I wasn’t used to.

The last bit, around 30km, the rain stoped. Still the noise from the soaked road but nothing from the bars as I could tell. 🙂

Thanks for the review. Having sold a few unwanted items of Facebook I'm thinking of using the cash for replacing my cheap non brand bars with the Thule Evo 127's
