2011 black Skoda Octavia vRS TSI DSG Estate £8750

Featured Replies

I am selling my black magic 2011 '11' plate Skoda Octavia vRS TSI DSG estate as I miss my Skoda Octavia vRS DSG hatch so much I am looking for a replacement

First registered on 30/03/2011 as a demonstrator by Sinclair Skoda in Swansea which will probably go a long way to explain the amazing level of spec. Initially owned by rap1 on here between 2011 and 2013, then AJ7788 between 2013 and 2015 and me since 2015.  Currently has 79K on the clock and is been used daily so will rise slightly.

Standard chain driven 200bhp TSI petrol engine and 6-speed semi-auto DSG gearbox with F1 style gearshift paddles on the steering wheel.

Fastidiously serviced and maintained with full Skoda service history.  Serviced roughly every 9k - 10k so has been serviced 8 times in the last 6 years.  This includes the 40k and 80k DSG oil and filter changes required every 40k.

Latest TSI chains and tensioners fitted on 05/01/2015 at a cost of over £650 (with receipt) as a preventive measure against chain tensioner failure.

Full Hunter 4 wheel alignment done on 14/02/2014 to prevent rear tyre sawtoothing.  Air con regassed on 25/10/2014, new brake discs and pads all round on 16/05/2015 and new premium battery fitted on 24/01/2017.

MOT until 30/03/2018 (no advisories).

Full leather interior with very rare option of heated front and rear seats.  The leather is in great condition having being regularly treated and has no rips, tears or burns etc.

Xenon headlights with heated washer jets, Maxidot trip computer and cruise control.

Columbus media unit with built it satellite navigation, CD / DVD player, SD slot and 30gb hard drive. 4120 firmware with radio text and the latest v14 maps.

Columbus integrates with the upgraded Bluetooth / Wi-Fi phone kit which allows rSAP or HFP connection (compatible with all phones including the latest iPhones).

Bluetooth allows phone calling, text message display, text message read out, text message reply, music streaming and Wi-Fi.  The Wi-Fi creates a hotspot for connection to multiple devices including other phones, tablets and laptops.

Front and rear parking sensors with full display on the Columbus.  Auto lights, auto wipers, auto dim rear view mirror and auto dim door mirrors.  Puddle lights, curtain airbags, sunset glass B pillar back, fitted and tailored sunblind’s and a spare wheel kit rather than the gunk that most came with.

18” genuine Skoda alloys in immaculate condition with no kerbing etc.  Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymetric 2 tyres with decent tread all round.  Air con is ice cold and everything else works exactly as it should.

Large MPH display on the Maxidot, cornering fogs, dimming DRL’s on indication, and oil temperature enabled in Maxidot.

HPI clear, no finance outstanding and no plate changes etc.

All documents, handbooks, V5, service history and receipts kept in the original Skoda folder. I also have both remote central locking keys, one of which has never been used.

Still under warranty until October 2017 with Warranty Wise. Policy upgraded to 04/40 level of cover which is all mechanical, all electrical and all electronical cover. Labour rate set to £200 per hour inc. VAT with a single repair limit of £8000.  Unlimited number of repairs up to the retail value of the vehicle.  Voluntary contribution is set at £100. Fully transferable to the new owner.

I am asking for £8750.

Feel free to PM me for contact details. I work shifts so viewings and test drives are welcome during the week and at weekends.

I live in Rubery, Birmingham, 2 minutes away from J4 M5, 15 minutes away from J8 M6 (via M5) and 5 minutes away from J1 M42.

Amazing car! Still miss it.. Just haven't got the space or ££'s. Fair price mate, good luck with the sale :)

Cheers AJ, you know this car better than anyone else on this forum.

Booked in for a service on Wed 19 Jul at All Electric Skoda in Kings Heath, Birmingham to maintain the full Skoda service history. If anyone is interested beforehand I could negotiate this in to the asking price.

If I still have it by then I shall probably keep it for another 12 months as it becomes a bit too close to our summer holiday to be messing about trying to swap cars!

Price reduced to £8750. If it doesn't sell at this price by Thu 29 Jun when my eBay ad expires, I will keep it for another 12 months.

I know it is advertised at the absolute top end of what it is actually worth but factoring in its amazing spec, warranty and condition there isn't much out there to compare it with.

Please do keep us updated, I will look out for a project thread!

I am intrigued to see whether you take the spoiler off your tdi, respray it and attach it to this car, it would look awesome.

Myself and AJ7788 are still active members (not so sure about rap1) so give us a shout if you need anything.
