I'm one month into owning my new Yeti and loving it.

 

I swore off VAG products way back in 2002 when the Warranty Dep't refused to cover the cost of new brake disks on a 99T Octavia Estate that was still in warranty and their launch free 3 year serving deal, especially when they paid for new brake pads at the same time. So I've not considered anything from VAG in the intervening 15 years. 

 

The Yeti overcame my prejudices and, so far, I'm pleased it did.
