Does anybody on here have a Superb Mk3 1.9 diesel estate with black alacantra cloth seat covers. When putting the seats down I found identical 1 inch splits at the bottom of both seats covers near both rear doors This shows up the white cloth underneath. I asked for them to be replaced under warranty but have now been told they are manufactured like this with the splits!?!. Not a selling point in their brochure.

Could anyone who has these covers on their Mk3 Superb please check their vehicle to see if it is the same and let me know the outcome.
