You sure the bogging down is not just hitting the rev limiter? If its a softcut limiter it will just slow down as it hits it

you maybe right there is there anyway to change this sounds spot on what you said there 

Probably get it remapped and the limiter adjusted but why would you want to? Engine runs out of puff before the redline anyway so no point in revving it all the way up.

My old 1.2 fabia used to start limiting at 5800 and would slowly limit until 6k when it wouldnt go anymore. Only ever hit the limiter by accident as the power was all gone by 5500rpm
