2015 Yeti Bolero fit to 2014 Fabia

Featured Replies

can anyone tell me if a 2015 Bolero head unit from a Yeti will swap in to a Fabia MK2 replacing the factory Swing radio?

I can't be sure myself as I have an older model but many versions were interchangeable. The main thing is to make sure you have the code, to set it. The original system will self-set if the power is interrupted but you will need the code for the replacement to work. You might also want to know the code for your own system, either to re-fit on selling the car or to sell the system on yourself!

The short answer is no, it's the wrong shape faceplate.

Definitely?

Definitely different. Fairly sure the only two units that are straight swaps are the Amundsen and the Columbus.

The 2015 Yeti Bolero will physically fit straight in. However, you're going to hit a load of problems with component protection which will lock the unit as soon as you connect it up. It's also a different quadlock connector so you'll need an adapter loom.
