My retirement Skoda

Featured Replies

Hi

I have been the proud owner of the same Fabia 1.9 TDI Estate since I bought it new in November 2001. It served me faithfully for the last 16 years of my working life. I retired at the end of March and shed a metaphorical tear when I had to drive my Fabia to the "scrapyard in the sky". It was still on its original clutch and exhaust pipe and had done an amazing 384,000 miles, but sadly it had started to make a lot of very worrying noises and I needed to replace it with my "retirement" car which is a shiny blue Octavia 1.4 petrol estate registered in 2016.

I found Briskoda when googling about an issue I have playing my iPod through the USB port and have registered. I hope I can share my experiences and benefit from other members' own experiences.

Thats about 24k a year, good going.

I'm also thinking of an Octavia 1.4.  Let us know how it goes.
