Hi all, my first service is due in the next week or so (~18k) and I'm just wondering if there are any non-standard aspects that I need to ask for specifically.

 

The car's absolutely fine but are there any things that you've found you need to ask for specifically that won't be covered if you don't ask for them - e.g. software and map updates etc?  Probably chargeable I know.  And anything else?  If the car is going in for the day I'd just rather get everything sorted in one go.  Cheers.

Most important is to negotiate on the price if you can. I do. I also supply my own oil for less than 1/2 the cost of the dealers. It depends on your relationship that you have with the dealers, mine is very good and I have everything done through them. I presume any software updates will come through as standard (no charge) but ask as you book just in case there is a time concern.
