Should be here about April May time .........be great to get some cheaper fuel for a change

I really want to know how this thing work. Which retailer has agreement with Pipeline. Why that retailer is happy to give discount to members.

If someone came to you and said "I have 180,000 people who I can make buy your product instead of mr. XVZs product ......how much are you going to give us as discount .....would you take the offer or let mr. XYZ have all the customers

We only have Esso, Jet and Tesco within a 20 mile radius... bet its neither of em, lol.

I reckon it won't be a big player like BP, Shell, Esso. I reckon it'll be someone like Jet or Murco. And deffo not a supermarket please.

Tesco or Shell would be good for me, although if it's BP it might bring their prices in line with other stations

When it comes to fuel, a lot of us can be 'rate tarts' as it were, going where it's cheapest. So as Rob says, given the opportunity to get 180,000 regular customers, they'd be daft not to consider it.

However, let's hope it's not Jet or Murco. I wouldn't dare put that in the tank!

I wouldn't put supermarket in my tank, so would love BP, Shell, Texaco etc... I'd like the extra that goes in the tanks and diesel is all the same price around here anyway, supermarket and BP et al, so a brand would be good.

Got an email a couple of days ago. The card is currently on schedule for a may/june launch.

However, let's hope it's not Jet or Murco. I wouldn't dare put that in the tank!

Even in the space of a couple of weeks is now up to 200,000 members.

Received this mail today:

Dear Pipeline Card Member,

I just wanted to let you know that Pipeline Card now has over 200,000 members.

Well done to all of you who have worked to build up our numbers to that level.

If we keep this up, when we go live in April or May, we should have at least

400,000!

Meanwhile,while we have been carrying on our discussions and negotiations, we

have identified a possible opportunity to secure a discount on heating oil. We

know that some of you would be interested in this, because you have told us, but

how many?

If you are interested in cheaper heating oil, don't reply to this email, send a

separate short email to [email protected]. It's not guaranteed that we can do

it, but we need to get an idea of how many are interested.
