Hi. A mate of mine has offered sell his portable sat nav system from his citigo to me, as I have recently purchased a car which didn't not have the system as standard. I noticed that under a blank cover on the dash I have the connection.Will it work in my citigo ? Many thanks. 

Depends on the year of your car? If it's too new then it won't fit. 2016 and below and it'll fit.

I was asking myself the same question. Can I retroactively fit a Garmin/Navigon to my Citigo, even though it didn't come with one originally? On the Skoda website it says that you need a professional to perform the installation.

 

Has anyone tried to install this sat nav on their own?

Hi Jonny,

 

It is a 2015 Citigo. From what I read on other threads, I am in the clear as it's 2013 and newer which can be retroactively fitted?

It seems that the gentleman is a real legend, cutting a hole in his brand new dash board. I, myself, am a bit luckier as the car already comes with the port, I just need to remove the cover. But that is still encouraging to know.

Yeah should be fine then, I’d bought one off eBay when I had my 15 plate SE. Worked perfectly.
