Combi rear bumper protector

Recommended Posts

I've been struggling to find a rear bumper protector that I like, I've had them on other models which were sculpted up the sides not just the bottom which I liked the look of even if they never fitted as good as they should.

Anyways, as a temporary measure I've made my own out of plastidip as I'd hate for my dogs to scratch the paint before I find one.

What do you think?

Has anyone tried Skoda's own Superb 3 Combi Rear Bumper Protector, part number 3V9 061 195, as pictured in the S3 accessories catalogue, on their Czech website?

I have the clear plastic bumper protector that was fitted by the dealer prior to collection, It seems to do a good job of stopping the dog scratching the paint when jumping in and out of the boot.

In the Czech S3 Accessories catalogue the bumper protector 3V9 061 195 is pictured as some sort of silver/grey thick solid plastic item with ribs.

I have the official Skoda protector on my Combi. I got them to supply and fit as part of purchasing the car.

Got an aftermarket one on our Mk2 Combi. Both do a good job protecting from dog scratches!
