Stuart,

Have you seen the Eucalyptus colour in the flesh?

I have the 4x4 in this colour so you won't get the full feeling of the L&K...

If not I'll drop you a photo if you like...better than the half inch colour sample you get. :)

have seen the eucalyptus on a dirty car in a garage compound only (just traded in) & my wife liked it, its her car we are choosing at present. if you could send pics it would be appreciated

Stuart

Ive only seen 1 octy in eucolyptus green , but its a nice colour which suits the car well (and for some reason i like the estate in this colour more than the saloon!)

Is that the wishy washy green? ;)

It's the colour of my recycle bin at present...I'll take some more pics presently...dam digital photography, dam my laziness about loading a new tape, dam my tape fills up quick, in short damit.

The brochure I have mentions Eucalyptus Metallic (not Green). Ocean Green is best described as wishy washy - with apologies to anyone who has one and likes its.

Well you lost me, just got the brochure out and can see Nature Green or Ocean Green - Nature Green looks quite classy but not keen on Ocean Green..........woh, wait a minute, that's cos' it's not a green ! From the brochure it looks like a very dark grey ?? Hmm, just looked on skoda.co.uk and when you select the colour it appears on the car and looks very nice, guess you've done this though froom your 'in the flesh' comment.

As an aside can't decide whether SIlver or BLack for my forthcoming vRS, leaning towards Black at the moment, any comments from those of you who don't have either ?

Pic One

Not good though as it to is dirty.

Have had black (Mercedes 220 and Mercedes 300) and silver (Audi 100CD5E). Black looks super when clean, but show every speck of dust. Its amazing how many different shades of it are used in car finishes, but it does touch up well. Silver looks good when clean and unmarked. It doesn't show moderate dust, and the car looks cleaner longer. But any scrapes, scratches, dents and rust really show up. (My Audi was dented in the rear door by a child's trolley within days of me buying it, and it really showed up. Some rust also proved very troublesome to cover up when dealt with).

PS The Octavia brochure is dated 09/02 so is fairly recent.

PPS Black or silver - blonde or brunette - Ford or Vauxhall - chicken or egg - its all a matter of personal choice. If you really are undecided, Drpepper, try starting a poll - but don't expect any clear-cut conclusion from vRS owners, not least where yellow is concerned.
