Aux 3.5 jack

Featured Replies

Does the skoda superb  aux 3.5 jack enable my phone to be charged

Can't see how it could. Most phones are USB charging, so the car wouldn't stick power down the cable. Or are you asking - can the phone be charged while 3.5 is attached?

That wont charge your phone. It can't charge anything.

Yep your right bought fag lighter to USB 1.99 does same job that aux is useless

The aux socket is a (standard*) 3.5mm stereo jack, there is no voltage available there at all.

* thanks to apple there is no standard anymore, they chose to wire these sockets in a different way to force their customers into buying apple only headphones for which they charge royalties.

as above, you're as likely to charge a phone from a headphone plug as you are to charge it from the tap in the bathroom.

Same here - I think it was meant in jest.  Williamshatnerspants is a helpful guy, sarcasm and nasty is not his style.  The real William Shatners pants - now those things are truly nasty...!

Apple seem to be determined to confuse the hell out of people by not sticking to standards. Apple users are sticking things where they don't belong all over the place - nasty mess.

Apologies Razzortrevor, no malice intended, just a poor attempt at humour. I should probably keep my jokes to my own posts. Hope you got the information you need.
