Hi 

I am new to Skoda and have just purchased a 2014 Superb SE with a Balero

Has anybody swapped one out for an aftermarket android unit such as this

It says it fits but I can't see any way of fitting the airbag light

What does anybody use?

That unit is for an Octavia. Yours is different for the Superb.

In the details it does say it fits the Superb

Maybe there is a new fascia or another unit fits. 

Don't believe everything sellers tell you about cheap chinese head units. They're trying to sell them, not tell the truth. You need one which is a different shape, it's been well covered in the relevant forum areas.

Do you know if the aftermarket android columbus units are compatible with the aftermarketandroid Bolero units?

You can get a fascia to swap between them

No sorry no idea still new to Superb MkII

The airbag light on the superb is fitted in the trim surround. You just need a new head unit the same shape as your existing "superb" shaped bolero. 

 

Just a thought. Someone was asking the other day about buying a bolero for a superb. If you're removing yours then I reckon you'd sell it fairly easily. 

Yes, about the airbag light. If you get a columbus shape android unit and the appropriate fascia surround , the airbag light will fit but not sure about everything else!!

The bolero in the superb is the same shape as the Columbus. No need to change the surround.
