Rattle on N/S of car

Featured Replies

Hi all

only had the 2016 VRS 220bhp for a month. Came from a long line of VW Golf GTD's needed a bigger boot. I am impressed with the Skoda so far.

I did have have an issue over the weekend. Saturday I drove to Brighton from London and back with no issues. Jumped in on Sunday and started doing a short journey and got a rattle. It's bloody loud. I checked the A-pillar and the b-pillar & on the way home there was no noise at all. Could it have been something I moved or disturbed?

Any help would be great as I don't particularly want to take it to a dealer as it will most likely stop when I do.

It more than likely will be the leaver for raising or lowering the seat, most likely the leading edge of the leaver, try a small piece of padded sticky tape in-between the leaver and seat surround, I had this and the tape worked

I had exactly the same issue the day I collected my Superb. The lever that adjusts the seat height was vibrating against the side of the seat.  Soon fixed with a self adhesive pad designed for the bottom of electronic equipment.
