Rapid Spaceback Bluetooth Media issue

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

I upgraded from a citigo to a rapid spaceback a few months back. I absolutely love the car, it is perfect for me. The ONLY issue I have had started a couple of weeks ago. Up until then this wasn't a problem. For some reason the bluetooth connection to my phone when playing audio via spotify is very intermittent.

It started when my sister connected her phone to play some of her music on the way back and I was driving. the audio wouldn't play through her phone. So we disconnected it, re-connected mine and then that wouldn't work either. Tried everything I can think of. Un-paired and repaired the bluetooth from the car, cleared the bluetooth cache and files from my phone, nothing. The thing is, just before I connected my sisters phone, it worked PERFECTLY. And the phone still connects to the car, the phone and contacts etc all still work as they should. But also, it worked fine this morning, drove all the way to the petrol station near work. Turned the car off. Started up again, wouldn't play the audio. Just sat there and said 'bluetooth audio' on the screen with no track info or anything. It's kind of driving me mad because it's so useful to be able to do this and flick through tracks on my steering wheel controls.

For reference, the phones are both Samsungs.

Has anyone else experience this, or knows a way to solve it? Kinda desperate now, thanks.
