Good.

Hopefully soonest.

Those ordering Diesels are going to have to have them in the UK in time for First Registering before 1st April or they are going to be costing more on what ever finance agreements made or just in cash money with VED since the Chancellor is going to penalise them up a VED class from 1st April.

i hope it get before April, no doubt petrol VED will go up too

its hell of a car for that price!

No.  On price rises you should be protected and petrol car VED is not going up like happened last April and some Dealers that new it was due to go up increased what customers had signed financial agreements on.

'New Diesel cars not meeting latest standards' he said.

So that will be Skoda Diesels currently being built even though Euro 6 standard.

(Odd wording for what is going to happen. He means do not meet what the standards which will be with the RDE Testing that was introduced on 1st September 2017)

I listened to the budget and thought I'd be alright having a Euro 6. Why wouldn't you?

But if that is true then that's just typical of those sneaky two faced bar stewards.

Is that just for brand new cars or existing as well?

Does appear to be OK to have a Euro 6 Diesel.  Just not one that gets First Registered on the 6th April 2018 or after unless it has the RDE test results & meets the new emissions standard not yet introduced not the current ones.

I do not understand what he is meaning, and why White Van Man or Woman are a big deal to Philip Hammond MP considering there are small business's doing deliveries etc use Estate Cars, MPV's & 4x4 SUV's .

OK, thanks.

I wondered about his white van comment as well, particularly as the other day one overtook me belching out black smoke!

I guess he doesn't want to increase the burden on business at the moment but it still seems like a funny decision.

Been told that my car will commence production on 3rd week of Jan 2018, i placed order on 25th Nov, so it takes them 7 weeks to process my order!

Been told to expect: takes around a week to be built and then around 4-5 weeks to get to dealer

Was the person telling you that prepared to put it in writing, is that the confirmed build date then, 3rd week in January 2018

just seen one on M25 between J 11 and 10, very nice...

Meteor Grey, RHD, The bloke that drove it didn't look like Skoda driver, he was in his 30th, sunglasses, styled haircut and as he was in my rear view mirror, those horizontal daytime running LED's looked very nice.

What does a Skoda Driver look like?  Ever been to a Skoda Launch day?

Karoq drivers liable to be different from Yeti drivers,

and those reversed baseball cap vRS Octavia / middle aged racers with slip on shoes.

Euro 5 TDI with a fix drivers.

At the last Škoda Launch we went to (Kodiaq) there were:

A late 20’s / 30s couple

Middle aged couples / people attending on their own

Retired people

Familys

Transgender

So basically just like you find in every high street, the only thing they had in common? I doubt any of them were a badge snob (apart from maybe the Audi and Volvo dealers they turned up to see what all the fuss was about to their ‘new competitor’)

I really meant what do Skoda Employees driving new cars look like?

But as to the Kodiaq potential buyers they are getting there, as they will with the Karoq, a car for everyone.

New Skoda cars are changing, existing models are been revised, overall public perception will change and i believe Karoq will bring in more required attention and mix of different users, hey i am here now :giggle:

However i think the new Octavia is ruined by the front split headlights, its so odd looking.
