Vrs TSI not starting/ stalling

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I have an issue with my 2010 TSI FL VRS. I went to start the car this morning and it fired up but as soon as I let go of the key to stop the starter the engine stalled. I tried again but giving it some gas this time and it started again and held the revs higher but as soon as I take my foot off the gas the engine stalls again.

I had an engine management light come on on Friday when I was on my way home. Car drove fine so when I got home I plugged in my code scanner and got the message in the picture. Something about ABS inlet valve. I reset the codes and left it at that.

Doe s anyone have any ideas I could try before I get a mechanic out to look at it?

My father in law has just been round the house and managed to get the car going. He seems to think it was just damp? Not sure what he means by that.

If anyone has any advice on the error code that has appeared that would be great. I've heard the ABS pumps are an issue with these cars?
