Skoda Connect

Featured Replies

From the very beginning I have a problem with my Skoda Connect services. Looks like they are working for several days, and suddenly they stops. Instead I only have an error saying "Error: Skoda Connect".

Internet is working correctly in the car with a separate SIM card. Remote access to car is working correctly. Only Skoda Connect services are not working correctly. This has been reported to Skoda Connect Support at least few times. They are not very good in responding (it takes 1-2 weeks for them to respond). They claim that they are implementing some changes on the account (server side) and system starts working. Unfortunatelly after another 2-3 weeks it all happens again and stops working. This is so annoying and frustraiting. Skoda seems to not care about this at all....I am dissapointed. Anybody struggle with simmilar issues?

A few of us have posted our experience on this problem. What worked for me was to go to factory settings and reset just the Skoda connect services.

From a technical point of view, I think the unit has cached some XML web service definitions and they've changed their servers. So now when it requests data it is getting an error.

Well, I am confused with this case since I am pretty sure that resetting setting to factory values in my case does not help. I have a feeling that Skoda Connect support is doing something on their end and this starts to work for me but I am not able to get any info from them about this. Well///we'll see. For now it's been working ok again from yesterday evening. I hope this is the last time I am reporting issues with Skoda Connect services...
