I'm looking at new h7 bulbs for my Octavia (when it comes, hopefully next month). I normally us either Philips x-treme or Osram nightbreakers, however I see that powerbulbs also have PIAA Hyper Arros advertised.

Has anyone tried the PIAA ones, and if so, any they any good?

Not tried PIAA, but the Osram Nightbreakers are decent.

PIAA bulbs are probably the best on the market by some margin, but you’ll pay for the privilege.

 

I have used H7 Xtreme White Plus bulbs in cars over the years, and the difference in light output is very noticeable. They’re about £65 ish a pair. 

 

Be very aware of fakes floating around eBay and the likes though.

I have used Ring Xenon 150% on my previous cars and they are great. As above though there are a lot of fakes around so purchase from a reputable source. Other reputable sources are available .
