Skoda's image is changing because of results like this are forcing people to sit up and take notice. Thats 2 surveys this year the Octavia has walked best Family Car and in the What Car JD power one it was the only non Jap Car to win

Funny, isn't it? I bought mine, not on the strength of any surveys, but because I just had a "gut feeling" that the Octavia was a reasonable car. It felt good (although a bit slow) when I test drove it, it was VERY reasonably priced, and it seemed a worthwhile gamble, especially with the balance of the warranty to back it up. I haven't been disappointed. I couldn't tell you what is or was in the top ten in any survey in the last 5 years, now.

I got an email from Top Gear telling me the survey I'd partaken in was out, but I forgot to look at it... So, I guess the furby's 11th place was partially down to me. (although I answered honestly, mentioning the turbo incident - The fact I ulysysed (sp?) it elsewhere means nothing. )

I got a similar e-mail from Top Gear. Funny thing is, I can't remember filling in the survey :confused:
