Hi i own a 12 plate skoda octavia 1.6 tdi and the car has this problem. It looses power/safe mode. One guy said egr and turbo actuator problem another saying only turbo boost sensor. I dont know what is right as its both expensive please help thanks

As a first step i would check the turbo actuator see if the diaphragm is leaking. 

They are linked also check the pipe work for damage.
