Love it! Still not that loud on normal driving but give some good throttle and it's wonderful  Raspy!

So good.  Reckon you just need to sort the badges and then its perfect!

Get the gold back, and paint the roof box gold too

Autumn update - Still the same...washed and took some photos.

 

Will be back on winters in a month or so for the cold season 😛

Loved looking through your thread, some of the nicest mods I’ve seen on an Octavia and no overkill.

How hard was it to paint the outer grille surround? And has the plastidip lasted well? Thanks

It lasted a few months until I just bought the proper part. I'd recommend just buying the proper part too!

See your car a lot on the vRS Facebook groups, @creamvRS, and as someone who's recently picked up a Race Blue Mk3, I certainly know where to come for inspiration! If mine looks half as good as yours does, I'll be happy!  

 

QQ - were the mirror covers easy to fit? Do they fit over the top of the originals, or do you take them off?

Hey mate - The black rims are Skoda Turinis that came on the Skoda Octavia 1.6 Black Edition. 18" x 7.5j et51. Sat on spacers 15mm front, 20mm rear.
