unmatched grill sides - solid vs. empty honeycombs

Featured Replies

I just noticed on my sportline (after about 10 days!) that the honeycomb grill area that sits alongside the fog lights is not matched on each side. On one side the honeycombs are filled in (solid at the back), and on the other side the honeycombs are blank (empty /see-through)..... is that right???

What’s behind the one with holes? May be a vent letting air through to something on one side, but not on the other.

There is an intercooler behind the passenger side (RHD car) panel on some if not all cars.

Therein lies the problem! That’s gonna niggle me non-stop. Certainly it’s the passenger side that’s ‘open’.

Might have to stick an open grill on the driver side to live with.

Cant believe I’ve never noticed. But then maybe no one else will :)
