Velvet Red Metallic?

Featured Replies

I see that velvet red metallic now costs £900 extra to order. What's so special about this colour and finish?

Is it really worth it?

Only if you want a red car. The Competizione Red on the Alfa Romeo Giulia costs £1,800 last time I looked.

I saw a Kodiak in this colour and it looked like a flat colour. Very boring and cheap looking. The sales manager agreed and couldn't see the point of them making this a special colour.

Velvet implies deep dark colour, bit it most certainly is not. Immediate thoughts were it should be called fire engine red.

Not worth the price tag...  The corida red which was non met was nicer and 700 quid cheaper !
