Heater

Featured Replies

Does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be?

Been driving my SB today and the heater seems to be stuck on full heat.  Turned the dial to the lowest setting with the AC on with no change in temperature. The fan control seems to be ok just the temperature seems to be stuck.

Usually a failure/misbehaviour of the heater flap motor module 'V68'.  If you can find someone local to you with VCDS, they could scan your car and see whether there is a fault code suggesting/confirming this.  Either an autoscan of all electronic modules, or a targeted scan of the HVAC module should find this.

Thanks for the info. It has been working properly today but will keep an eye on it.

I have a similar occasional warm climate control niggle. I turn the car off and back on and its back to normal... I've scanned for fault codes, had skoda look at it with no joy and told there is nothing wrong.
